Set in beautiful grounds, both house and gardens offer an ideal setting for weddings and a stunning backdrop for your photographs.

The spacious entrance hall leads to large reception rooms from which visitors can enjoy a walk in the grounds on summer occasions.

The large lawn is ideal for marquees which are linked to the house.

Despite its size, the house has a particularly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The panelled room, drawing room and hall are all licensed for civil ceremonies, and the the rooms are available to be used as suits your particular requirements.

The parish church of St Bartholomew's lies on the edge of the park.

Rooms available for weddings

Panelled room

The panelled room seats a maximum of 70 for a meal, 90 for a civil ceremony, and has an ideal floor for dancing.

Drawing room

The drawing room seats a maximum of 90 for a meal and 120 for a civil ceremony.

Library

The sizeable library is also available for your guests to relax in. There are open log fires for winter weddings.

Homme House Overnight

Our associated business can provide accommodation for up to sixteen guests, and there are plans for a further large suite with four poster bed. The small kitchen allows guests to prepare their own breakfast from a pre-stocked fridge. Alternatively an English or Continental breakfast can be served downstairs at a time to suit the party, without the deadlines enforced in most hotels.
