New accommodation in our 18th century Coach House complete

We are very excited to announce that our 18th century, grade II listed Coach House is now renovated and available as wedding accommodation.

Laid out over 3 floors, the Coach House sleeps up to 8 people in 4 double or twin en suite bedrooms, taking the total number that can be accommodated on the Homme House Estate for a wedding up to 26. The Coach House also has its own farmhouse style kitchen, fully fitted utility room, and a drawing room which still contains the inglenook fireplace seating that would have been used by coachmen in days of yore. There is also some lovely outside space, with a garden at the front and secluded courtyard garden at the side of the house.

We hope that the Coach House will provide a comfortable and convenient, taxi-free option for family and friends on the night of weddings at Homme, while the fact that it is tucked away from the main house will give couples the option of both bride and groom staying on the beautiful Homme Estate the night before the wedding without the risk of coming face-to-face before 'I do'!

The renovations have been a labour of love to preserve as much of the character and historic fabric of the building as possible. We are very grateful to the team here, particularly Aaron, Steve and Jamie, for all their hard work, and to the local suppliers who have done such a fantastic job. We also hope we will never have to sand black beams again!
